Roman Senate Simulator is a discussion forum based game that uses a custom control interface to automate RPG game elements that would otherwise require human administration to track and moderate in a forum environment. RomanSS accomplishes this without losing touch with the discussion forum environment. This gives players the confidence that their status is being tracked and displayed with mathematical precision while allowing players to maintain the atmosphere of an open-ended role playing game.
